A Journey of Love, Support, and Gratitude: My Life Story

 From the moment I entered this world, my life has been a remarkable journey filled with incredible people who have shaped my path. It's a story of love, family, friends, and the professionals who have been there every step of the way.

Family Love and Cherished Moments

My family is the heart of my life story. Mum, Dad, and my sister Claire have been my constant companions, offering unwavering love and support. The bond we share is unbreakable, and I am eternally grateful for their presence in my life.

But my family extends beyond the immediate. My beautiful Pop and Nan, who always showered me with love and cherished every moment we spent together. Although I never had the chance to meet my other Nan and Pop from my mum's side, I found love and comfort in my mum's sister and her husband, whom I affectionately called Nan and Poppy.

Heaps of wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family added depth and richness to my life. Auntie Rose, Auntie Carol, Uncle Glen, Auntie Linda, Auntie Jenny, Uncle Mick, Auntie Pam, and so many others—each brought their unique love and warmth to my world. Special mention to cousins Kasma Kasim, Tara Sinclair, Nicola Sinclair, and Jacqui Gasper, who have stood by me through thick and thin, reminding me that family is a pillar of strength.

Best Friends and Lifelong Companions

In the narrative of my life, one character stands out prominently: my best friend, Brooke Clay. We became friends in kindergarten, and our bond has only grown stronger with time. Her unwavering support and friendship are a testament to the enduring power of true companionship.

Educators and Mentors Who Shaped Me

As I traversed through the chapters of my life, there were numerous educators and mentors who left indelible marks on my journey. In my primary school days, I had the privilege of receiving support from dedicated professionals like Jenni Morgan, Judy Creed, Val Boy, Jazi Mandi, Jane Richardson, and Jenna Longey.

High school introduced me to a new cast of mentors, each playing a pivotal role in my growth. Jessica Cole, Nick Patterson, Sue Storr, Mr. Stephen Johnson, Jane Charleston, Eleanor McRoberts, Julianne Blackerby, Ron Springall, Kate Beven, Anne Hull, and many others—all offered guidance, support, and encouragement. They helped me shape my aspirations and dreams.

College: A Chapter of Growth and Impactful Teachers

College marked a turning point in my life, where I met teachers who not only imparted knowledge but also instilled values and life lessons. Stephanie O'May, Dossie Maher, Gillian Cannell, Marie Conrad Wilson, Elizabeth Burke, and Annette Molt—all made a profound impact on my life, guiding me towards becoming a better version of myself.

Healthcare Professionals: Guardians of My Well-being

In the pages of my life story, healthcare professionals have played a crucial role. Dr. Greg Booth, my doctor in Kempton, Tasmania, was a trusted guardian of my well-being during my formative years.

Now, in Queensland, I have found a dedicated team at Whites Hill Family Medical, including Dr. Julie Hall, Eimear O'Brien, Dr. Tek Wong, and others. In 2023, I welcomed a new phase in my life with the arrival of Amelia Moore, my psychologist, who has already proven to be a pillar of support.

George Campbell, my physiotherapist, has brought boundless positivity into my life, along with my one-off physiotherapist, Isaiah Snell. Jackson Cook, my podiatrist, ensures I'm on the right foot, and Cath Gibbs, with her soothing massages, adds a touch of relaxation to my life.

Workmates Turned Friends: The Bonds We Share

The final chapter in my story is filled with the wonderful workmates who have become more than just colleagues—they are dear friends. Maria Milliotis and her family hold a special place in my heart, a testament to the enduring bonds formed in the workplace.

In closing, my life story is a tapestry woven with the threads of love, support, friendship, and guidance. It's a tribute to the incredible people who have made my journey meaningful and memorable. As I continue to turn the pages of my life, I do so with a heart full of gratitude for every character who has played a role in this beautiful story.

The Project: An Extraordinary Nigh

We were on holiday in Melbourne from Sunday to Wednesday, and Monday night was already a highlight because we attended  The Project . The experience was so awesome that we decided to get tickets for Tuesday night as well. This time, we invited our cousin Kasma to come along, and what an extraordinary night it turned out to be! The hosts for the night were Sarah Harris, Waleed Aly, Sam Thornton, and Kate Lambrook. Plus, they had a special guest appearance from none other than J Balvin. The energy in the studio was incredible, and I loved how interactive the experience was. During the ad breaks, the hosts took the time to chat with the audience, asking questions and making us feel like part of the show. That level of connection felt next level. Today, I had the opportunity to experience just that at Maxwell And Moore Psychology's new location in Coorparoo, 82 Leicester Street, where I met with the insightful Amelia Moore for a one-on-one session. Upon entering the building, a wave of freshness engulfed me, signaling the recent move and creating an atmosphere of new beginnings. The reception area, though temporarily unattended, was accompanied by a sign encouraging clients to make themselves comfortable.
